Healthcare Payment Posting Specialist (Hybrid) Pay: $29.28 per hour Location: Phoenix, AZ Schedule: ~7:00–8:00 AM start time, 8-hour days, 40 hours/week Hybrid: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote (to be discussed) Training: First month is 5 days onsite Type: Contract (52 weeks) Openings: 1 Interview Required: Yes Overview A-Line Staffing is hiring a Healthcare Payment Posting Specialist to support a high-priority Cash Posting team. This role focuses on manual and electronic healthcare payment posting , reconciliation, and resolving complex posting variances in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Key Responsibilities Post and reconcile manual and electronic payments across multiple payers and dates of service Interpret and apply information from EOBs, EFTs, ERAs , and 835 remittance files Allocate lump-sum payments across multiple patient accounts accurately Research payment variances, resolve discrepancies, and manage unapplied payments Work complex scenarios including COB , secondary/tertiary rules, and contractual adjustments Collaborate with billers/collectors and follow internal workflows/SOPs (suggest improvements as needed) Required Experience & Knowledge 3–5 years of healthcare payment posting experience (manual + electronic) Strong knowledge of EOBs, EFTs, ERAs, COB, and 835 interpretation Understanding of payer rules: Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Workers’ Comp Experience with denial resolution and payment reconciliation Familiarity with payment posting systems such as Interactant (HCS), WellSky, or similar Skills & Qualifications Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong math/analytical skills for remittance validation and reconciliation Comfortable working independently and meeting tight deadlines Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Proficiency with Excel and reconciliation tools Experience using clearinghouses, payer portals, lockbox files, batch/remit matching Preferred (Not Required) Experience in rehab, home health, or residential settings Exposure to payer audits/recoupments Basic understanding of contract modeling or reimbursement analytics Apply / Contact Austin Faris A-Line Staffing Solutions Phone: View phone number on click.appcast.io Email: View email address on click.appcast.io #J-18808-Ljbffr A-Line Staffing Solutions
