Job Details

• Weekly Pay: $1900 to $2080

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols
• Prepare and position patients to obtain accurate and diagnostic-quality images
• Screen patients for MRI safety, including implants, devices, and contraindications
• Administer contrast media as appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Operate and maintain MRI equipment while ensuring patient safety and image quality
• Review images for technical quality and completeness before submission to radiologists
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Adhere to MRI safety standards, radiation-free imaging protocols, and infection prevention guidelines
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout imaging procedures
• Assist with emergency and urgent imaging cases as needed

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
• Active ARRT certification required
• ARRT (MR) certification preferred
• Active North Carolina license if required by state and facility regulations
• Minimum 2 years of recent MRI Technologist experience
• Current BLS Certification required
• Experience with contrast-enhanced MRI studies preferred
• Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, anatomy, and MRI safety standards
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced imaging environment
