Description

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and create personalized treatment strategies

• Work closely with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise protocols
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress per facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team meetings and interdisciplinary conferences to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
• Specialty certifications (such as in neurological, geriatric care) are advantageous but not necessary

Skills

• Previous clinical experience is strongly preferred
