Radiology Technologist

Responsibilities The Radiologic Technologist I works independently and/or assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient and operating the x-ray equipment in order to obtain diagnostic images in an ambulatory setting. Qualifications Education: 2‑year/Associate degree preferred; Graduate of ARRT‑approved Radiography Program required. Experience: One year in diagnostic radiology preferred. Licensure/Certification: Certified and registered by ARRT in Radiography ‑ RT(R) and hold NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility or Hospital Outpatient Department certifications. Must be certified by ARRT within 6 months of hire. Additional Skills: Thorough knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories; analytical ability and basic computer skills; ability to modify care according to patient age; interpreting information to identify patient requirements; good communication skills; capable of functioning alone; working knowledge of various X‑ray equipment; ability to adapt to various situations and procedures. Preferred: NH Medical Registry eligibility in Radiography by ARRT; NH Medical Group certification.
