Substitute Teacher

Position Purpose Under the general supervision of the School Principal, facilitate student success while the classroom teacher is unavailable. Additional Duties Performs other related tasks as assigned by the Principal and other office administrators. Qualifications Profile Tier 1 – $100 per day: must be a high school graduate and preferably 21 years of age with experience working with children (e.g., camp, FFY), or currently enrolled in college working toward a Bachelor degree. Tier 2 – $125 per day: must have a Bachelor’s degree, a valid teacher license or be a retired teacher. Provide an unofficial copy of your transcripts (the copy must show the school name, address, etc.), your teacher license or a copy of your degree. Education Must meet sub requirements. Terms of Employment This is a temporary/substitute position. The full responsibility of this position is fulfilled on an on‑call/as needed basis. Normal holidays are non‑worked, non‑paid days and work is not available during school breaks. There are no benefits associated with this position.
