Title: Medical Director, Breast Imaging Location: Texas Setting: Hospital – Onsite Specialty: Breast Imaging Type: Full-time, W2 Position Overview The Department of Radiology at an esteemed academic health system in Texas is seeking a Medical Director to lead its Breast Imaging division. This position offers an excellent opportunity to practice in a dynamic academic environment with a strong commitment to clinical excellence, teaching, and research. Key Responsibilities Serve as the administrative and clinical leader of four dedicated breast imaging clinics, all local to the main campus. Manage a clinical team of 6 full-time breast imaging radiologists, 7-8 residents/year, and 1-2 breast imaging fellows/year. Imaging and procedures include tomosynthesis, MRI, diagnostic ultrasound, biopsies (US, stereotactic/tomosynthesis, MRI guided), and pre-surgical localizations.
