Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

$2080.80/week -

Job Summary:

Provide inpatient medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care during a 20-week winter coverage period. Responsible for delivering safe, competent patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient conditions and develop individualized nursing care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments following established protocols.
  
  
• 
  Recognize and respond promptly to abnormal ECG rhythms and patient emergencies.
  
  
• 
  Document patient information accurately and update electronic health records.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure smooth shift transitions.
  
  
• 
  Follow all facility policies regarding certifications, licensing, and compliance requirements.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Valid Ohio license or compact license in hand prior to start date.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
  
  
• 
  Active BLS and ACLS certifications; willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start.
  
  
• 
  One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty.
  
  
• 
  Successfully pass ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
  
  
• 
  Ability to complete BCI/FBI background checks within 48 hours of signing contract.
