As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Armed Patrol in Little Rock, AR , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Must be 21+ years old - Weekly Pay

5+ years of security experience or

4+ years of law enforcement or military experience or

Graduate of law enforcement academy

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to utility operations personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, operational areas, buildings, equipment yards, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles entering restricted areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol observations, incidents, and security-related concerns, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Have supervisory experience.
• Possess a college degree.
• Have 5 or more years of security-related experience.
• Have 4 or more years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
