What You'll Do

As an Entry-Level Structural Engineer, you'll work closely with experienced engineers to support a variety of design and analysis projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with the design and analysis of structural systems for buildings, industrial facilities, and infrastructure projects
• Prepare structural calculations for steel, concrete, and foundation systems
• Develop and refine engineering models to evaluate structural performance and safety
• Support the preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and engineering documentation
• Collaborate with senior engineers to solve technical design challenges
• Assist with structural assessments, modifications, and improvement projects
• Participate in design reviews and engineering discussions
• Apply engineering principles and industry design standards to project work
• Maintain accurate project documentation and calculations
• Continuously develop technical knowledge through mentorship, training, and real-world project experience

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited university
• Coursework in structural analysis, steel design, and concrete design
• Internship, co-op, research, senior design project, or other relevant engineering experience is highly preferred
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar engineering design software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Eagerness to learn and develop professionally
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative remote environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $36.06/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
