Senior Project Engineer

Standard Job Description

Coordinates planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within area of assigned responsibility. Plans and formulates engineering program; reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Evaluates and approves design changes, specification and drawing releases. Coordinates activities concerned with technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and test problems.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum?1?year of hands-on operations experience within an RMS or similar production environment.

• Documented use of IFF as an end-user or in a project role, with evidence of participation in one or more IFF deployments.

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline (e.g., Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Skills

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office?Suite

• Proven project-management capabilities, including budgeting, earned-value management, and stakeholder presentation preparation

• Advanced Excel macro/VBA development and automation skills

• Working knowledge of AI tools and their application to data-driven decision making

• Ability to turn raw IFF data into clear, actionable recommendations that support?1LMX?strategic decisions

• Has experience translating complex IT/production-technology or similar systems into clear, user-friendly language for non-technical end users

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $106600.00 - $198000.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Sunnyvale CA; Pal Alto, CA; New York City metropolitan area; Newark, New Jersey; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $95900.00 - $178100.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $85300.00 - $158300.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 4): $76700.00 - $142500.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Camden, AR; Lexington, KY; Lufkin, TX; etc.
