Virtuous Health Centers is looking for a friendly and organized Medical Receptionist to join our team in Flagstaff, AZ! Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in patients in a warm, professional manner
• Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments using medical scheduling software
• Answer and route incoming phone calls, emails, and patient inquiries
• Verify patient insurance eligibility and collect co-pays at time of service
• Maintain and update accurate patient records in the EHR/EMR system
• Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and communication between patients and clinical staff
• Ensure the front desk and waiting area remain organized and welcoming

Requirements:

• 1+ year of experience in a medical receptionist or front desk healthcare role preferred
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and medical scheduling software
• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance verification, and HIPAA compliance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer applications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; medical office certification a plus
