Software Engineer

Our client, a leading startup building multimodal AI systems for media generation , is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join their team as a Member of Technical Staff focused on GPU Optimization. This individual will work alongside a world-class engineering team to push the boundaries of content creation on the browser. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering skills with extensive machine learning experience and thrives in a fast-paced, high-ownership environment. This position is open to remote work across North America and Europe.

Role

• Develop innovative research projects in computer vision, focusing specifically on generative models for image and video.
• Collaborate closely with the product organization to bring cutting-edge machine learning models into production.
• Rapidly prototype solutions and iterate on them to meet tight product deadlines.

Essential Skills

• 5+ years of relevant engineering or research experience in machine learning, computer vision, and/or graphics.
• Hands-on experience with CUDA, C++, and systems-level performance optimizations.
• Solid knowledge of at least one major machine learning framework, such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Beneficial Skills

• Very strong programming skills with the ability to write clean, maintainable research code.
• A deep interest in building human-in-the-loop systems for creativity.

Base can approach $400k + equity.
