Work Environment
This onsite position at our home care facility offers a supportive and dynamic work environment. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will engage in direct patient care while benefiting from collaboration with other healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists. Flexible scheduling is afforded to our therapists, allowing you to create your own timetable, ensuring a work-life balance that suits your lifestyle. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities, establishing customized treatment plans to address their specific goals.
- Delivering effective and empathetic therapy services, which include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and various modalities tailored to geriatric care.
- Regularly monitoring and documenting patient progress, making necessary modifications to treatment plans to facilitate optimal recovery outcomes.
- Collaborating closely with a broader healthcare team to ensure a holistic treatment approach, integrating insights from various therapy specialties.
- Educating patients and their families about recovery techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention.
- Implementing and managing fall prevention strategies to enhance safety within assisted living environments, contributing to lower accident rates.
- Remaining informed of the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and pursuing ongoing education to refine skills and expand knowledge.
- Adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining confidentiality while delivering the highest standard of care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to ensure effective interactions with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and commitment to accurate documentation practices.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
