Current OpeningsPosition #1: Ultrasound Technologist

Location: Scarsdale, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $48.91 - $73.36/hour

Position #2: Ultrasound Technologist (Weekend Program)

Location: White Plains, NY
Schedule: Full-Time | Saturday, Sunday, Monday | 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM
Compensation: $52.04 - $62.88/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000

Position #3: Ultrasound Technologist (Per Diem)

Location: White Plains, NY
Schedule: Per Diem | Weekend Coverage | Hours Vary
Compensation: $52.04 - $62.88/hour
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Prepare and position patients according to imaging protocols and examination requirements.
• Produce diagnostic-quality images for physician interpretation.
• Assist physicians during ultrasound-guided and related procedures as needed.
• Review imaging studies for quality and completeness before submission to the radiologist.
• Perform equipment quality assurance testing, routine calibrations, and report equipment concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of imaging rooms, work areas, and equipment.
• Accurately document patient information within PACS, RIS, and hospital information systems.
• Educate patients and family members regarding procedures and answer questions appropriately.
• Coordinate with radiologists, physicians, nursing staff, and support teams to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Participate in departmental quality initiatives and continuing education activities.
• Provide additional coverage, on-call support, holiday coverage, or overtime as needed based on departmental needs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Ultrasound/Sonography program.
• ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required.
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification required within 90 days of hire.
• 1-3 years of ultrasound experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and imaging protocols.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to safely move and position patients throughout examinations.
• Strong critical-thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion.
