Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Current license to practice Occupational Therapy in Ohio
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting highly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
• Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
• Compassionate and patient approach to working with children and adolescents

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students and provide occupational therapy services as outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Design and execute intervention plans to address fine motor, sensory processing, and adaptive skills
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to create supportive classroom environments
• Document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with school protocols
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations for student support
• Offer training and resources to school staff and families on strategies for student success
