About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC / PCU / Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days/Nights Rotating | 3x12-Hour Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Stepdown/HVTI unit setting
• Monitor and manage patients requiring intermediate or progressive care
• Perform ECG rhythm recognition and respond appropriately to cardiac changes
• Float to additional units as operationally needed to care for the same patient population
• Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
• Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license required at time of submission
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Stepdown specialty; travel experience will be accepted
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Active NIHSS certification required
• All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PCU / Progressive Care experience preferred
• 18 months of experience within a single location preferred, though combined experience will be considered
