ROLE DESCRIPTION

As a Customer Service Representative – State Farm Agent Team Member , you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting daily agency operations.

You will assist customers with policy inquiries, coverage questions, billing concerns, and service requests while ensuring every interaction is handled with professionalism, accuracy, and care.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and genuinely enjoys helping people. We value individuals who take ownership of customer needs, communicate effectively, and consistently deliver reliable service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide prompt, accurate, and professional assistance by phone, email, and in person.

• Assist with policy changes, renewals, billing inquiries, coverage questions, and account servicing.

• Build lasting customer relationships that support satisfaction, loyalty, and retention.

• Conduct needs-based policy reviews and recommend appropriate insurance solutions.

• Assist with claims inquiries and guide customers through appropriate processes.

• Proactively follow up on outstanding requests, renewals, and service needs.

• Identify coverage gaps and cross-selling opportunities to better serve customers.

• Resolve customer concerns efficiently and ensure timely follow-through.

• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.

• Collaborate with team members to achieve agency goals and deliver an excellent customer experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required.
  
  
• Willingness to obtain a Life & Health insurance license.
  
  
• Previous insurance customer service or account management experience preferred.

• Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

• Dependable, patient, and committed to exceptional customer service.

• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to handle concerns professionally.

• Comfortable discussing insurance products and identifying additional customer needs.

• Self-motivated, accountable, and committed to continuous improvement.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
