Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Care - License Required

ATTENTION: This is not an entry-level healthcare position. Applicants must be licensed Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) who have graduated from an accredited PTA program. Now Hiring Physical Therapist Assistant - Home Care Full-time Discovery at Home Fort Myers, FL Overview: Due to continued growth, Discovery at Home is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant in Fort Myers, FL, to serve the Discovery Village Forum, Discovery Commons Cypress Point, and Lehigh Acres Place campuses. Full‑time is preferred, 40 hours per week are available. Caseload / Patient Population: The Physical Therapist Assistant will primarily work within assisted and independent living communities, with some home visits possible within the community. The patient population is primarily geriatric, with most cases under Medicare Part A Home Health, along with some Part B. Compensation and Benefits: This position offers a competitive hourly rate in the range of $30 - $43 per hour, which increases based on experience and qualifications. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must have a current CPR certification. New grad PTAs will be supported and mentored. Previous experience in home health is preferred, but not required. Full‑time is preferred, 40 hours per week are available. Open to candidates who require sponsorship to work in the United States. Background Screening Requirement: Employment in Florida is contingent upon completion of a Level 2 background screening in accordance with Florida AHCA requirements.
