A well-established consumer-focused organization is seeking an experienced Technical Accounting Manager to support complex accounting matters, policy development, and financial reporting initiatives. This role offers strong visibility, cross-functional exposure, and the opportunity to influence accounting decisions in a dynamic environment.
Position Overview
The Technical Accounting Manager will serve as a key technical resource, responsible for researching accounting guidance, preparing position memos, and supporting accurate and compliant financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
As the Technical Accounting Manager , you will:
- Research and interpret US GAAP related to new transactions, initiatives, and business changes
- Prepare technical accounting memoranda and support accounting policy documentation
- Assist with adoption and implementation of new accounting standards
- Partner with FP&A, Tax, and external auditors on complex accounting matters
- Support quarterly and annual reporting requirements, including disclosures
Qualifications
- Strong background in technical accounting and financial reporting
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting concepts
- Experience working with auditors and cross-functional stakeholders
- Public accounting experience and CPA preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
