Employment: Full-Time

Salary: $50,000-$55,000 annually, plus performance-based bonus opportunities

Training Area: Multiple RNR Tire Express stores throughout the region

The Opportunity:

RNR Tire Express is looking for a proven, hands-on leader who is ready to learn the complete business and prepare to lead a store. Our GM-MIT program provides practical development across every major area of the operation. You will train alongside experienced leaders, work directly with team members and customers, and build the judgment, accountability, and business understanding required of an RNR General Manager.

This is a hands-on leadership program. You will learn the responsibilities of each core store position so you can lead with credibility, coach effectively, and understand how every department contributes to the customer experience and the store's success.

Regional travel is a required part of the program. GM-MIT team members are not assigned to only one store during training; they travel to multiple RNR Tire Express stores within the region to gain the experience needed to become an RNR Tire Express leader.

What You Will Learn and Lead-

• Sales Specialist & Customer Experience: Build customer relationships, identify needs, explain the value of our tires, wheels, services, and payment programs, and help the team achieve sales goals.

• Account Specialist & Customer Retention: Learn customer account management, follow-up, payment commitments, documentation, collections, customer retention, and respectful resolution of account concerns.

• Service Specialist & Shop Operations: Train alongside the service team to understand safe shop workflow, mounting and balancing, alignment services, tire safety, vehicle and wheel protection, quality control, and team productivity.

• Store Operations & Business Performance: Develop a working knowledge of scheduling, inventory, cash controls, merchandising, reporting, expense awareness, key performance indicators, and overall store execution.

• Leadership, Culture & Team Development: Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, accountability, conflict resolution, recognition, retention, and a positive culture built around clear expectations and consistent follow-through.

What You Will Do

• Rotate through and actively support the Sales Specialist, Account Specialist, and Service Specialist functions.

• Learn and consistently demonstrate RNR processes, customer-care standards, safety expectations, and daily operating procedures.

• Set clear priorities, communicate daily goals, coach team members, and follow up on performance and commitments.

• Use store metrics and observations to identify opportunities, create action plans, and improve sales, account performance, service execution, and customer retention.

• Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, scheduling, inventory control, store presentation, customer issue resolution, and other daily operating needs.

• Build trust while maintaining fair accountability and demonstrate readiness to assume responsibility for an RNR Tire Express location.

What We Are Looking For-

• Five or more years of leadership or management experience.

• A demonstrated ability to coach, develop, motivate, and hold team members accountable.

• A hands-on mindset and willingness to learn every area of the store, including sales, customer accounts, and service operations.

• Strong communication, organization, judgment, customer-resolution skills, and comfort working with goals, reports, and numbers.

• A valid driver's license, the ability to meet company driving-eligibility requirements, and schedule flexibility based on store needs.

• The ability and willingness to travel regularly among multiple stores within the assigned region.

• Tire and wheel, automotive, rent-to-own, retail leadership, or bilingual Spanish experience is a plus.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a driving history that passes our company requirements
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, push and frequently lift up to at least 75 pounds
• Able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
• Have exceptional hygiene and grooming habits
• Ability to work flexible hours Monday through Saturday
• Commitment to the company safety policies
• Able to communicate clearly and professionally with customers and team members both in person and through phone and text
• Prior experience as a manager, store manager, sales manager, service manager, or retail manager
• Rent-to-Own or Leasing experience is valuable
• Pass drug screen and background check to company policy standard
