About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1 year tele, inpatient only License: Current RN License Certifications: BLS from AHA only, NIHSS (must obtain prior to start), must complete 4 trauma credits within the first two weeks from start Must-Have: Experience and competence in drug titration Description: Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates patient care in conjunction with other departments. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the organization's mission, values, and service standards. Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with established guidelines. High risk exposure to blood and body fluids. Physical demands include standing and walking most of the time, significant bending and stooping, and lifting and turning patients with assistance. May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, or days of the week according to patient care requirements. Ability to push, pull, and grip up to 50 lbs., pinch up to 15 lbs., kneel, crouch, and crawl minimally. Maintains professional accountability for patient care provision. Coordinates patient care alongside other departments. Performs duties consistent with the organization's mission, values, and service standards. Offers a compassionate and high-quality care experience for patients.
