Job Description

Full Steam Staffing is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Seasonal Applicant Support (Data Entry Clerk) to join our Stockton office. This role is responsible for assisting applicants throughout the hiring process, providing exceptional customer service, and performing high-volume data entry to ensure accurate candidate records.

The ideal candidate is bilingual in English and Spanish, enjoys working with people, and can efficiently manage administrative tasks in a fast-paced staffing environment.

Location: Stockton, CA

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8: 00 AM start time (flexibility required to work earlier or later based on business needs)

Essential Responsibilities

• Greet and assist applicants in person, over the phone, and via email.
• Guide candidates through the application and onboarding process.
• Perform high-volume data entry with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Enter, update, and maintain applicant information in company databases and systems.
• Verify application documents and ensure all required information is complete.
• Answer applicant questions regarding job opportunities, hiring requirements, and onboarding procedures.
• Schedule interviews and communicate important updates to candidates.
• Assist with applicant screenings and collection of onboarding paperwork.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical files.
• Support office staff with administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
• Ensure a professional and welcoming experience for all applicants.

Qualifications

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• Previous customer service, administrative, receptionist, or data entry experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, dependable, and customer-focused attitude.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
