An opportunity is available for an experienced Retail Pharmacist to provide temporary coverage in Vineland, NJ, from mid-November through the beginning of January. This role offers consistent hours during the holiday season, ideal for a pharmacist seeking steady work in a retail setting.

Location:

• Vineland, NJ

Schedule:

• Approximately 30 to 35 hours per week
• Coverage from November 15 through January 1

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness
• Provide patient counseling and medication education to ensure safe medication use
• Administer immunizations as needed to support public health efforts
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage daily workflow efficiently
• Ensure prescriptions are accurately filled, labeled, and dispensed in compliance with policies
• Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation
• Adhere strictly to all state, federal, and pharmacy regulations
• Deliver professional customer service within the retail pharmacy environment

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active New Jersey Pharmacist License
• Certified Immunizer credential
• Recent experience in retail pharmacy settings required
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential
• Availability for the full coverage period is highly preferred
