Job Title: Experienced Bartender Location: The Sportsman - Kernville, CA Type: Part-Time Opportunities Available

Are you a friendly, high-energy bartender who loves the Sierra Nevada lifestyle? The Sportsman, a beloved Kern River institution, is looking for a rockstar bartender to join our crew!

For decades, we’ve been the go-to spot for locals, anglers, kayakers, moto riders, and tourists looking for a cold beer, a great story, and genuine hospitality. If you thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment and know the difference between a perfect pint and a killer cocktail, we want to hear from you.

 

What You'll Do:

· Craft classic and simple cocktails, pour perfect drafts, and serve up smiles.

· Provide exceptional, quick service to our diverse crowd of outdoor enthusiasts.

· Manage a busy, multi-station bar with efficiency and a positive attitude.

· Handle cash and card transactions accurately.

· Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming bar environment.

· Become a part of the Kernville community!

 

What You Bring:

· 6+ years of bartending experience in a high-volume environment.

· A positive, outgoing personality and a true passion for people.

· Have a strong sense of responsibility and impeccable personal conduct while on duty for guests and staff.

· Extensive knowledge of beer, spirits, and classic cocktails.

· Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

· A team-player mindset – we’re a family here!

· RBS Certification is a must.

· (Bonus points if you have a great fishing story or know the best local hiking trails!)
