Journeyman Electrician

Job Description Job Description At Dunns Electrical Construction, the Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for operating a service truck alongside an apprentice, ensuring high-quality electrical work in commercial and industrial environments. This role involves troubleshooting industrial motor controls, reading and interpreting wiring diagrams and project drawings, and executing timely, code-compliant electrical installations. Additionally, the Journeyman Electrician will participate in a rotating on-call schedule, which includes one week per month and at least one weekend, providing responsive support as needed. Requirements Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician license Valid driver's license and ability to drive service trucks Experience in commercial and industrial electrical work Proficient in reading wiring diagrams and project drawings Skilled in troubleshooting industrial motor controls Possession of necessary tools including multimeter Commitment to safety, including the use of steel-toed boots and hard hats Willingness to take paid on-call shifts, including weekends Benefits Healthcare Retirement with 3% match 1 week paid vacation after 1 year, 2 weeks paid vacation after 5 years Holliday pay Work truck for commute to and from work Overtime Available
