Job Description Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Qualifications Minimum 6 months of experience in a call center or high-volume customer service environment Minimum 6 months of data entry experience Experience handling customer inquiries via phone and email Strong computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Ability to pass a post-offer background check and drug screening Preferred Qualifications 1-2 years of customer service experience Experience in a foodservice, distribution, logistics, or supply chain environment Recent experience in a high-volume call center Experience using Cisco phone systems Experience working with multi-line phone systems Order processing or order management experience Job Summary The Customer Service Representative serves as a primary point of contact for customers by providing professional support through phone, email, and other communication channels. This role is responsible for handling a high volume of inbound customer interactions, processing requests, resolving issues, and supporting various operational functions within the distribution center. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism and accuracy. Strong communication, computer, and problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role. Job Duties Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and other communication channels Handle a high volume of inbound calls using a multi-line phone system Process customer orders, substitutions, pickups, and return credits Provide support for customer special requests and account inquiries Research and resolve customer concerns in a professional manner Accurately enter and maintain customer information and order data Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer needs are met Assist distribution center teams as needed Maintain service levels, quality standards, and departmental metrics Perform additional projects and duties as assigned
