About the Role:

Join our dedicated team at LILY PAD PEDIATRICS LLC as a Pediatric Medical Assistant/LPN in Opelousas, LA. This exciting role offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on children's health while working in a supportive and friendly environment.

Responsibilities:

Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures.
Perform routine clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and documenting patient histories.
Administer medications and vaccines under the supervision of a physician.
Coordinate patient care and assist with scheduling follow-up appointments.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
Support the overall operations of the pediatric practice, ensuring a welcoming environment.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.

Requirements:

Current LPN license or certification as a Medical Assistant in Louisiana.
Experience in pediatrics or a similar healthcare setting is required. No exceptions!
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interaction.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) and medical software.
Compassionate demeanor with a genuine passion for pediatric care.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Current CPR certification and knowledge of first aid procedures.
