Salary: $75,000-$100,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m.


Position Overview


Snelling Staffing is currently recruiting for a Production Manager to join a growing aviation maintenance and repair operation in Louisville. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing daily production activities, managing workflow, and ensuring quality, safety, and compliance standards are consistently met.


The ideal candidate will have experience leading production, maintenance, or repair operations and be comfortable working in a highly regulated, quality-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities:


-Oversee daily production scheduling, resource allocation, and workflow across maintenance and repair operations
-Lead, supervise, and motivate production personnel to achieve operational goals
-Monitor workflow and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and productivity
-Ensure quality standards, safety procedures, and regulatory requirements are consistently followed
-Manage inventory, materials, equipment, and other production resources
-Address operational challenges and make timely decisions to keep production on schedule
-Maintain accurate production records and required documentation
-Support continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization
-Collaborate with leadership and other departments to ensure production objectives are met

Preferred Requirements:


-Proven experience managing production operations in a manufacturing, maintenance, repair, or similar environment
-Strong understanding of production scheduling, inventory management, and resource planning
-Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team
-Strong commitment to quality, safety, and operational excellence
-Familiarity with regulatory compliance and documentation in a technical or industrial environment
-Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:


-High school diploma or equivalent required
-Technical certification or vocational training in maintenance, production, or a related field is a plus
-Previous aviation maintenance, aerospace, or other regulated-industry experience preferred
-Training or experience in lean manufacturing, production management, or continuous improvement methodologies is a plus
