Registered Nurse – Medical Progressive Care Unit (MPCU) Location: Mercy Hospital St. Louis. Department: Medical Progressive Care. Schedule: Full‑Time / Part‑Time / Nights. Experienced RNs Preferred! Charge Nurse Position Available in Unit. Position Details Qualifications Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state‑specific). Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in medical progressive care, medical‑surgical, telemetry, or other progressive/acute care settings. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (or obtained within a specified timeframe). NIH Stroke Scale certification (if applicable to patient population or unit protocols). Skills & Competencies Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation and clinical assessment skills. Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment.
