This role is an ideal position for a proven leader with diverse technical capabilities that has demonstrated "hands-on" electrical engineering expertise. The selected individual will contribute to the design, development, integration/test, and production of complex systems for military applications. They will work with a multi-discipline team to develop complex products based on IR, RF, and laser technologies. The individual must be a self-starter with development experience working with integrated military electronic hardware and supporting test equipment. The engineer will be responsible for the following tasks:Developing robust hardware architectures and solutions to meet demanding customer requirementsLeveraging their electrical engineering expertise to lead and/or perform circuit and CCA design and analysis, FPGA/CPLD designs/developments (Xilinx, Lattice), technical trade studies, analog/digital/mixed signal interface design, component selection, evaluation of technology insertion/upgrades, as well as laboratory test and troubleshootingPlanning work productsManaging subcontract developments to supporting product builds & integration effortsFrom around the globe, our employees work on the world's most advanced electronics – from detecting threats for F-35 pilots to illuminating the night for soldiers. Required Education, Experience, & SkillsBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering12+ years of experience to include 10 + years of demonstrated experience in product development and support of DoD military electronics equipment (Master's Degree and 10+ years of experience preferred)Eligible to obtain a DOD Security ClearanceExperience defining digital hardware architecture for complex military equipmentSolid fundamentals of digital/analog/mixed signal electronics and interface/communication standardsWorking experience with RF/IR/Laser, receivers, sensors/cameras, and/or related technologiesExperience with state-of-the-art electrical engineering development toolsExperience with python, C, or programming languages for test execution understandingStrong "hands on" laboratory experience with instrumentation, equipment, and processesExperience with debugging hardware using multimeters, oscilloscopes, digital signal analyzersPreferred Education, Experience, & SkillsCurrent experience with Cadence electrical engineering development toolsMotivated self-starter and problem solverLeadership capabilities in team environments with good written and verbal communication skillsDetail oriented person with good time management skills to be able to prioritize problems/actions in a team environmentExperience in designing Power Supply circuitsFamiliarity with JTAG protocolMATLAB/Simulink tool experienceFamiliarity with image and signal processing techniquesUnderstanding of complex electronics manufacturing and test methodologiesActive DOD security clearancePay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $136000 - $231200 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
