Position: Audiologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Audiologist to become a part of our team, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. In this role, you will assess the Veteran's medical history, which will be accessible through a secure online portal, prior to administering a Maryland CNC Test and a Puretone Audiometric test. Following these assessments, you will fill out a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal, creating the necessary medical documentation for the VA to evaluate the Veteran’s eligibility for benefits.

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and interpret electronic medical records through a secure web portal.
• Accurately document examination results and complete the required VA forms.

Note: This position does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices. The determination of disability is made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), not by the Audiologist.

• Part-Time: 2 days per week (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM).
• Caseload: Approximately 3-6 Veterans per day.
• Equipment Provided: Computer and all necessary documentation tools.

• A compassionate Audiologist with a strong commitment to supporting the Veteran community.
• Excellent analytical skills for reviewing medical records and assessment data.
• Proficient in electronic documentation and web-based systems.
• A professional and empathetic approach when interacting with Veterans.
• Doctorate degree in Audiology from an ASHA Accredited Institution.
• Current Audiologist license.
