Benefits you may enjoy working at HUB International Midwest‑East Medical, Dental, and Vision (PPO, HMO, and HSA) Comprehensive Wellness Program 401(k) Retirement Plan Life and Disability Plans Vacation, Holiday, Sick, and Personal Time Off Pet Insurance Comprehensive Onboarding Program Continuing Education / Personal Development Programs Flexible Work Arrangements Employee Engagement Events Dress for Your Day Dress‑Code Service Awards Responsibilities Act as claims advocate and facilitator on behalf of clients Consult with clients on claim issues and coverage disputes Review and recommend solutions to coverage, quantum, and claim handling management issues Negotiate with insurers, adjusters, and lawyers to expedite and secure fair settlements Participate in sales presentations to prospective clients Assist clients in preparing special claims servicing instructions tailored to their insurance programs Review and comment on policy wordings for account teams Regularly review claims with clients, insurers, and loss adjusters Demonstrate determination, ownership, teamwork, and sincerity in client and colleague interactions Qualifications Post‑secondary education and/or relevant work experience Holds or commits to obtain the appropriate provincial license within the probationary period Additional insurance qualifications/designations (e.g., CIP, CRM) considered an asset Excellent knowledge of coverage and analytical skills in policy interpretation Awareness of relevant insurance legislation and major insurance‑related court decisions Understanding of Michigan no‑fault auto liability General knowledge or experience with multiple lines of insurance coverage, with detailed knowledge of specialized lines considered an asset Prior experience in claims consultation with large risk accounts Strong verbal and written communication skills, effective time management, and organizational practices Results‑oriented with a strong client service emphasis and focus Good computer skills, including proficiency in email, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills Required experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience Cultural Expectations Determination – unsatisfied until we are the best; we go the extra mile for clients and colleagues.
