Diesel Truck Mechanic

Key Responsibilities Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, andelectrical problems on heavy-duty vehicles and trailers. Perform routinemaintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, filterreplacements, and system diagnostics; replace and repair major internalengine components, transmission repairs, and rebuilds. Perform DOT annual inspections on medium/heavy-dutyvehicles and trailers. Use computer diagnostic equipment. Conduct inspections andtests to ensure vehicles and equipment are in proper working condition. Maintain accurate recordsof all maintenance and repair work performed. Qualifications 3 -5 years of experience working as a diesel mechanic Cumminscertification is nice to have, but not a requirement. Provenexperience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong understanding of dieselengine systems and components. Proficiencywith diagnostic tools and equipment. Strongproblem-solving skills and attention to detail. Abilityto work independently and as part of a team. Excellentcommunication and organizational skills.
