In this role, you will serve as a vital connection between patients, family members, providers, and healthcare team members, helping to ensure a positive and seamless patient experience. The PSA acts as a trusted resource for patients by addressing concerns, answering questions regarding healthcare policies and programs, and facilitating communication across the care team. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about providing exceptional customer service. In addition to supporting patient needs, the PSA provides administrative and coordination support to ensure efficient unit operations and high-quality patient care. Monitors various office needs such as nursing supplies, forms centers, new employeeorientationand Epic binders weekly. Provideaccuratecommunication between patient and healthcare teams. Answer phone and direct callers to appropriateresource. Communicates and coordinates any unresolved patient/family issues promptlytoclinical leadership. Answers the patients’ needs directlyutilizingprovided position resources. Reportsneedspromptly toproper leadership. Communicateswith schedulingdepartmentany patient concerns regarding schedule or cancelations. Serves as a resource for patients and patients’ families needing direction or information. Maintains knowledge of policies, procedures and programs as requiredin order tomaintaincompliance and brings any questions or concernsregardingcompliance to the immediate attention of their department leader. Effectively uses software applications in the course of assigned duties. Attends andparticipatesin department meetings and customer servicetrainingswhere warranted. Communicate professionally with both internal and external individuals with our company mission, vision, and values in mind. Independently apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Serve as a back-up to onsite Administrative Support office duties when needed. Qualifications Education: High School diploma or equivalentand be18 years of agerequired. Experience: One (1)yearpreviousclerical, customerserviceor other experience in a health care setting with general knowledge of computer skills and keyboardingrequired.
