High School Science Teacher

Position Overview
- Teach engaging, standards-aligned Biology or Earth & Space Science lessons to high school students while creating a positive and structured learning environment.
- Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional activities that encourage student engagement, critical thinking, and academic growth.
- Proactively support student needs, classroom management, and academic progress while maintaining high expectations for all learners.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and school staff as an active and engaged member of the school community.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Required)
- Valid NYC Teaching Certificate (Required)
- New York State Science Certification preferred
- Prior teaching experience preferred
