So, everything we do at CNH Industrial is about reaching new heights as one team, always delivering for the good of our customers.Job Purpose: The Software Test Engineer II is responsible for creating and implementing test procedures to analyze and ensure quality of software programs.Key Responsibilities:Perform software validation testing of Offboard software on agricultural equipment in field and bench environmentsAnalyze and review system software requirements to develop test strategies and plansDesign, develop, and execute test cases and procedures aligned with feature functionality and performance expectationsAnalyze test results and failures, perform root cause investigation, and distinguish between test issues and software defectsCreate, maintain, and communicate test reports to stakeholders. Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, test results, and identified defectsCollaborate with cross-functional Product Validation teams to ensure complete validation coverageSupport coordination of test activities with internal teams and external partners, as requiredIdentify and contribute to improvements in test processes, methodologies, and toolsExperience Required:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field3+ years of experience as a software test engineer or in a related roleStrong written and verbal communication skills, including defect documentation and test reportingAbility to safely access and work on agricultural equipment in both field and field environmentsDemonstrated troubleshooting of electrical and software integration issuesExperience developing and executing test cases based on system and software requirementsWillingness to work in both an office and outdoor environment as neededPreferred Qualifications:Familiarity with agricultural equipment operations and farming practicesExperience operating agricultural equipment in a field settingExperience with farm management information systems (FMIS) like FieldOps and/or JD Ops CenterExperience with requirements traceability tools (e.g., Polarion, JIRA)Knowledge of vehicle communication networks and protocols (e.g., CAN, J1939, ISO 11783)Experience with tools such as CANalyzer and CANoe/SimulinkPay Transparency: The annual salary for this role is $74,625 - $114,425 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.) For roles open across multiple locations, the salary range indicated refers to the primary location.
