Accounts Semi Senior - Worcester

Clark Wood is working with a well-established independent accountancy practice in Worcestershire to recruit an Accounts Semi Senior for their Business Services team. This is an opportunity for an experienced all‑round practice professional who enjoys working across accounts and tax in a hands‑on role. The firm seeks a practical and commercially minded candidate rather than a career‑study focused individual, making this ideal for a qualified‑by‑experience (QBE) candidate or someone who has studied AAT, ACCA or ACA but chosen not to continue exams. Responsibilities Preparation of statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns VAT returns and bookkeeping duties Assisting with management accounts where required Liaising directly with clients and responding to day‑to‑day queries Supporting senior staff with client portfolio management Ensuring assignments are completed accurately and to deadline Qualifications Previous experience working within an accountancy practice Experience preparing accounts and undertaking tax work AAT qualified, part‑qualified ACCA/ACA, or qualified by experience (QBE) Experience with cloud‑based accounting software such as Xero or QuickBooks Strong organisational and communication skills A proactive and team‑oriented approach Offer Salary of £27,000 – £35,000 depending on experience Office base in either Droitwich or Worcester #J-18808-Ljbffr Clark Wood
