Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using radioactive materials, ensuring high-quality results and patient safety. The candidate must hold a valid Hawaii license and be prepared to start immediately upon acceptance of the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare radiopharmaceuticals and perform camera quality control to ensure optimal imaging quality.
- Conduct general nuclear medicine imaging procedures accurately following standard protocols.
- Monitor and record EKGs for cardiac assessments, ensuring patient stability and safety.
- Receive, document, and handle radioactive shipments in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain and operate advanced imaging equipment such as Siemens ECAM and GE MAC 5000 systems.
Qualifications
- Obtain Hawaii license prior to or at the start of the assignment; active license required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in nuclear medicine procedures.
- Credentialed with ARRT or CNMT in Nuclear Medicine.
- Possess BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
- Ability to perform radiopharmaceutical prep, imaging, and EKG monitoring proficiently.
- Demonstrate competence in handling radioactive materials and performing equipment QC.
