Database Administrator- SQL with Security Clearance

Position Overview Database Administrator – SQL – Annapolis Junction. Position Title: Database Administrator Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph Location: Columbia, MD Responsibilities The Database Administrator maintains database integrity, security, availability, and compliance with business processes throughout the life cycle. Knowledge in use of the following databases: Microsoft SQL Server, MariaDB, Postgres. Performs disaster recovery, performance analysis and tuning, index maintenance, and monitoring. Evaluates and recommends database management system products. Performs database and application server administration. Organizes and formats data for efficient query and storage. Qualifications Ten (10) years of experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity. Four (4) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university. Salary $135‑$165k annually. Salary ranges are determined by multiple factors, including knowledge, skills & abilities, years of experience, education/certifications, program placement, duties & responsibilities, and internal equity. Some programs may allow additional hours as needed. Limited programs have on‑call requirements with compensation. All technical employees will be paid for all time worked. All billable employees are eligible to earn quarterly bonuses based on the number of hours worked for that period. The requirement is roughly 92% of hours available to bill in a given quarter.
