Physician - Psychiatrist

Job Title
Major duties include but are not limited to:
- Clinical responsibilities include outpatient management and working with an intradisciplinary team consisting of other psychiatrists, psychologists, psychiatric social workers, psychiatric nurses and psychology technicians.
- Provide consultation and direct care for outpatients manifesting a wide variety of serious psychiatric and psychosocial issues.
- Respond to emergency consultation requests from the admission area and from other clinics within the medical center.
- Rotate schedule with other physicians on a monthly roster for weekend/holiday coverage, and weeknight backup for residents as assigned.
- Participate in education and training of psychiatry residents, medical students, psychology interns, and allied health trainees.
- As time, staffing patterns and workload permits, candidate may participate in research projects and be assigned to various programs within the Mental Health Service.
Work Schedule: Full-time Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm.
