PREP COOK (FULL AND PART TIME)

Job Summary Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Position Details Position: Prep Cook (Full & Part‑Time) Location: Air Canada LAX Staffing, 600 World Way, Terminal 6, Los Angeles, CA 90045 Pay: $25.75 to $30.15 per hour Schedule: Full‑time and Part‑time available; open availability preferred. Prior prep experience required. Internal Employee Referral Bonus available. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef. Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes. Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets; taste completed meals to ensure quality. Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use. Store, label, and date all food items according to policy; follow HACCP guidelines. Complete all required documentation, reports, and logs as required. Comply with federal, state, and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures. Takes orders from customers and prepares items requiring short preparation time. Serve customers efficiently and with a friendly manner. Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations. Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control. Resolve customer concerns. Perform other duties as assigned.
