Registered Nurse Oncology/Hematology

Schedule

12-hour shifts with weekends required every other week. 36 hours guaranteed per week.

Assignment Details

Contract length is 26 weeks, with a preference for longer contracts up to 51 weeks. The facility may consider 13-week contracts on a case-by-case basis. Orientation dates available are 10/05/2026, 10/19/2026, 11/02/2026, 11/16/2026, and 11/30/2026.

Requirements

• Active Kansas or multistate nursing license.
• AHA BLS certification required; chemotherapy certification preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience required, with oncology/hematology experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients with hematological and oncological diagnoses.
• Administer inpatient chemotherapy and supportive care.
• Manage symptoms and provide palliative care for progressive diagnoses.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Compliance / Notes

RTO policy allows for a maximum of 10 days for contracts of 26 weeks or longer, and 5 RTO days for shorter contracts. Healthcare providers may request 1 holiday off during the contract period. Compliance documentation is required two Thursdays prior to the start date.
