Logistics Process Engineer

About the Role Essity Health and Medical Solutions is currently seeking a Logistics Process Engineer for our manufacturing facility in Bowling Green, KY. What You Will Do Responsible for daily results (DOM items, changeovers, process settings, uptime, waste, safety, quality) Develop/train/drive a structured approach to troubleshooting and standardized work practices within the logistics teams Support continuous improvement initiatives and communicate equipment performance using available documentation and facts. Develop/standardize/monitor/control process settings and train operators Identify/lead/support Continuous Improvement Projects that will improve the long‑term productivity of the lines, improve quality, and/or improve safety. Ensure proper prioritization of projects. Support the technical trainer/coordinator in providing day‑to‑day operational training to technicians. (i.e. precise setup, changeover procedures) Support the development and implementation of process control systems (SPC, 5S, 4M, preventative and/or predictive maintenance, quick changeover, etc.) that improve quality, production results, and consider the long‑term perspective in meeting needs and goals. Works with other Process Engineers to ensure standardized control formats (changeover sequencing, critical parameter checks, process settings, etc.) Who You Are Bachelor’s degree required, in an Engineering or related technical discipline 1+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing or logistics environment required, 3+ years preferred. Computer experience essential, to include Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Needs to possess excellent communication, leadership and facilitation skills. Must be able to multi‑task effectively and work in an environment of constant interruptions. Ability to work well with others in a team environment and to perform a variety of duties without direct supervision. Must possess a working knowledge of statistics as it relates to process control. Advanced structured problem‑solving skills required.
