Senior Middleware Integration Lead

Job Description SUMMARY: Azamara is seeking an innovative, passionate, detail oriented, and organized Senior Middleware Integration Lead to help evolve and propel our team during a time of exciting growth. The Senior Middleware lead is responsible for ongoing maintenance and enhancement of middleware that integrates Azamara’s billing and CRM platforms. This includes monitoring and testing business requirements for system enhancements and changes. The Lead Analyst will also work closely with internal and external business teams to understand Travel and GDS Partners’ integration requirements and will be responsible for the conception, development, implementation, and deployment of these requirements. This position is also responsible for supporting Azamara API (Application Protocol Interface) and pricing/inventory flat files.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: (Job Duties) Support and enhance existing Integration between Azamara’s billing (Seaware) and CRM platforms (HubSpot) Work closely with GDS Lead Analyst, Azamara North America, and International Sales team to understand Travel and GDS partner's API and Integration requirements and develop software solutions to meet these requirements Accountable for the entire life cycle of a designated electronic product(s) to include business requirements, data mapping, support of the development lifecycle, and QA WHAT WE LOOK FOR: (Requirements) Minimum 8-10 years' of software development experience working on message-based architectures and systems. Familiar with and implemented solutions using any of the following technologies: JMS, ActiveMQ, Kafka, RabbitMQ Must be proficient in Java, JMS, and knowledge of Python is preferred Knowledge and use of REST API’s. Should have prior work experience working in AWS or Azure cloud platforms Must be a highly organized self-starter able to work on multiple concurrent work streams, producing high-quality deliverables while working with minimum supervision.
