Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a full range of Nuclear Medicine scans for patients ranging from infants through adults
• Operate department equipment including Siemens scanners across a 5-room department (including 1 PET scanner)
• Conduct an average of 20 studies per day as part of a team-based environment
• Start and manage intravenous (IV) lines as required for imaging procedures
• Utilize EMR (Cerner) and PACS (Siemens/SECTRA) systems for documentation and image management
• Participate in on-call rotation for weekends and holidays as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of Nuclear Medicine experience
• Demonstrated ability to start IVs independently — this is a firm requirement
• Must be available for on-call shifts including weekends and holidays per rotation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with PET/CT imaging in addition to general Nuclear Medicine
• Familiarity with Siemens imaging equipment, Cerner EMR, and Siemens/SECTRA PACS
• Experience working as a travel technologist (first-time travelers are welcome to apply)
