OT Systems Engineer

Join the OT Systems team supporting a beverage manufacturing facility in Columbia, SC. You'll help keep the plant's automation and operational technology systems running while partnering with the team on troubleshooting, system improvements, and projects. This is a hands‑on role where no two days are the same. Some days you'll solve production issues on the plant floor; others you'll work on upgrades and projects that make the plant run better. It's a great opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys learning new technology and solving problems. Responsibilities Support and troubleshoot OT systems, including MES, OEE, PLC, SCADA and HMI platforms. Provide hands‑on support to the automation team and help resolve production issues, with escalation paths to senior engineers. Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to prevent future issues. Support system upgrades and plant‑requested changes. Work across both legacy and modern manufacturing systems. Partner with operations and plant teams to explain technical issues in clear, easy‑to‑understand language. Balance project work with day‑to‑day production support. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who enjoys learning, solving problems, and figuring things out. They are looking for someone with curiosity, initiative, and a strong desire to grow. Required 1–4 years of experience in controls, OT, automation, IT or engineering within manufacturing. Exposure to PLCs, SCADA, HMI or similar control systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills. Willingness to work hands‑on, on the plant floor, in a production environment. Able to communicate technical information in simple terms.
