About the Job:

As a General Foreman you will be responsible for overseeing and directing multiple field crews performing electrical utility construction, maintenance, and repair work. This role ensures that daily operations are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project schedules, specifications, and budgets. The General Foreman serves as a key on‑site leader, coordinating resources, resolving field challenges, and maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct multiple field crews to ensure safe, efficient daily operations
  • Assign tasks, set priorities, and provide on‑site leadership and guidance
  • Coordinate labor, equipment, and materials to support scheduled work
  • Develop, adjust, and communicate daily/weekly work plans to keep projects on track
  • Monitor progress, productivity, and quality, making adjustments as needed
  • Enforce company, OSHA, and utility safety standards across all job sites
  • Conduct safety briefings and hazard assessments, correcting unsafe conditions promptly
  • Troubleshoot field issues, including design conflicts, equipment problems, or material shortages
  • Communicate key updates and challenges to project managers and engineering teams
  • Adapt plans to changing site conditions while maintaining schedule and budget expectations
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience, preferably in the utility industry or related field leadership.
  • Strong understanding of electrical utility construction methods, standards, and safe work practices.
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, work orders, and job specifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and on uneven terrain.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting, carrying, climbing, and bending as required by job site conditions.

Work Authorization:

  • You must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.

Benefits & Compensation:

  • We offer an excellent benefits package that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, 401k with company contribution, paid time off and paid holidays.
  • Hourly Rate: $45.00 - $52.00 an hour based on experience.
    • We reserve the right to pay more or less than the posted salary range based on factors unrelated to sex.
