2027 Corporate Analyst Development Program - Summer Analyst (Columbus)

If you’re excited to develop broad, transferable business skills while being exposed to senior stakeholders, we have a role for you. As a Summer Analyst in the Corporate Analyst Development Program at JPMorganChase, you will spend nine weeks working on meaningful projects that influence real business outcomes. From improving processes to supporting strategic decisions, you'll contribute to initiatives that shape how our global businesses operate. This 9‑week internship is designed to give you hands‑on experience, exposure to senior stakeholders, and the opportunity to build skills that are valuable across any career path. You’ll collaborate across teams, tackle complex challenges, and see how data, analytics, and emerging tools—including AI—are used responsibly to drive decisions. Throughout the program, you will develop foundational skills in one of three core disciplines: Analytics, Project Management, or Process Improvement. You’ll also build a strong network, gain exposure to different areas of the firm, and develop a broad understanding of how our businesses connect. High‑performing Summer Analysts may receive an offer to return for our full‑time program—a two‑year rotational experience across all three disciplines – Analytics, Project Management, and Process Improvement. This program is not aligned to front‑office, client‑facing, or software engineering roles. Instead, it’s ideal for students who enjoy working with data, are intellectually curious, and want to solve problems and improve processes. Job Responsibilities Analytics Turn data into insight: Explore data to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities; translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations Support decision‑making through structured problem solving Use modern tools, including AI‑enabled solutions, to accelerate insight generation Project Management Turn ideas into execution: Support the delivery of projects that drive business priorities Coordinate across teams to keep work on track and aligned Identify risks, solve problems, and adapt as priorities evolve Communicate updates clearly to stakeholders at different levels Process Improvement Turn complexity into simplicity; analyze workflows to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities Support initiatives that enhance processes, systems, or ways of working Use data to understand root causes and inform solutions Help implement changes that drive sustainable, measurable impact Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Pursuing a B.A., B.S., or 5th‑year M.A./M.S. with expected graduation of December 2027 or June 2028 Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills Ability to synthesize complex information and translate data into clear, actionable insights Demonstrated interest in data, analytics, AI, and emerging technologies, with a digital‑first mindset Demonstrated leadership through academic, extracurricular, or professional experiences Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across teams Proactive, team‑oriented, and able to take initiative and demonstrate ownership Curious with a growth mindset, strong learning agility and the ability to adapt and thrive in a fast‑paced, evolving environment Familiarity with Microsoft Office and business tools Preferred Qualifications, capabilities and skills Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale Locations Columbus, OH Eligibility and Immigration To be eligible for this program, you must be authorized to work in the U.S. We do not offer any type of employment‑based immigration sponsorship for this program.
