Nurse Practitioner: Acute Care Adult Certification - REQUIRED Physician Assistant: Board Certified or meets Texas standard to practice - REQUIRED Texas License - REQUIRED Board Eligible: Yes ATLS - REQUIRED

Experience

Inpatient consultation coverage for general surgery and level III trauma adult patient populations NP or PA (PA preferred, but NP acceptable) No FA duties required

Patient Volume & Responsibilities

Variable volume: consultations, follow-ups, pre/post-operative consults, rounding with physicians APP performs discharges Basic bedside procedures only (dressing changes, drain management) No OR procedures required

Schedule & Coverage

Weekend day coverage only: Saturday and Sunday All weekends per month Possible ongoing coverage past June

Inpatient, Acute Care - Surgical Specialties EMR: eClinicalWorks (EcW) Support Staff: Nursing Supervising Physicians: Several physicians, trauma call schedule covered by 7 providers
