Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dermatology Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a growing healthcare practice in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive dermatological care, evaluate skin conditions, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with physicians to deliver high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive dermatological assessments and patient evaluations.
• Obtain medical histories and perform physical examinations.
• Diagnose and manage common skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Perform dermatological procedures within the scope of practice and level of training.
• Prescribe and manage medications as appropriate.
• Monitor treatment outcomes and provide follow-up care.
• Educate patients on skincare, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with dermatologists and other healthcare professionals.

Requirements

• Active Connecticut Nurse Practitioner license.
• Board certification as an Adult-Gerontology NP, Family NP, or other relevant specialty.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing.
• Previous dermatology experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
